It was an honour for the Chairperson of ACP DYSS Cameroon to be invited by Monde Avenir and Together Cameroon to participate in the facilitation techniques and electoral education process. This initiative aims to enhance civil society’s involvement in the upcoming elections in Cameroon, contributing to a stronger and more informed electoral process.
The Chairperson of ACP DYSS Cameroon met with Mr. Ferrestra Nang, the Delegate Representative of Youth and Civic Education in Akwa, Bonajo, and representative of the Minister of Youth and Civic Education in Douala. The meeting focused on discussing collaboration between ACPbDYSS and the Ministry in youth programs and activities, particularly in the areas of education, training, and agricultural workshops.
The Chairperson of ACP DYSS Cameroon was honoured to be invited by Rachael Njoke, a Junior Senator of Cameroon for the United Nations. It was a privilege to join in celebrating her remarkable achievement, as she proudly represents the voice of her community in Buea.

It was a pleasure, as the Chairperson of ACP DYSS Cameroon, to share my thoughts in the Messenger Newspaper regarding the growing influence of digital skills among Cameroonian youth. I emphasized the importance of mastering these skills and highlighted the opportunities presented to them, which will be invaluable for their future.
The Chairperson of ACP DYSS Cameroon had the privilege of participating in a remarkable meeting organized by Push at Krystal Palace, Douala. The event brought together notable figures such as Stanley Enow, Nchang Cho Clinton, UBA Cameroon SA, and other Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), along with the Ambassador of Social Cohesion in Cameroon and both national and international entrepreneurs. It provided a valuable opportunity for networking and collaboration, with the shared goal of building a better future for Cameroon.
It was a great honour for the Chairperson of ACP DYSS Cameroon to accept the invitation from CHANGE ENGINE and ANTIC at the Elite Office in Akwa, Douala. The event concluded with closing remarks from the Director of ANTIC, the Founder of Change Engine, and Nchang Cho Clinton. During my address, I encouraged them to remain resilient and not to give up easily in life.
The Chairperson of ACP DYSS Cameroon participated in a roundtable discussion alongside various delegations from ministries and organizations, including the Ministry of Higher Education (MINESUP), MINEPOSTEL, GECAM, EJARA, WASPITO, CAMTEL, ANTIC, IUGET, MINEDUB, and ZEBRA COMICS. The discussion focused on reskilling the future workforce by developing a critical mass of skilled professionals to succeed in a technology-driven economy in Cameroon.
The Chairperson of ACP DYSS Cameroon had a productive discussion with the General Director of Waspito, a health-focused social network that enables users (clients) to consult with verified doctors via video calls. The platform also facilitates home sample collection and medication delivery, enhancing access to healthcare services.
The Chairperson of ACP DYSS Cameroon was honoured to participate in the Cameroon Digital Skills Campaign, organized by the Founder of Change Engine, held at the Douala Elite offices in Akwa. The event, themed “Digital Skills for Youth Entrepreneurship in the Fourth Industrial Revolution,” brought together 100 youth from universities in Douala. These young participants were equipped with advanced digital skills aimed at empowering them to venture into entrepreneurship, create innovative solutions, launch groundbreaking businesses, and contribute to the growth of Cameroon’s digital economy. This initiative is led by ANTIC and The Change Engine.
The Chairperson of ACP DYSS Cameroon had a productive meeting with the Secretary General of the Governor in Bafoussam to discuss the implementation of youth activities in the region.
The Chairperson of ACP DYSS Cameroon had the opportunity to meet with the Chief of Center in Douala, representing the Delegates of Youths and Civic Education. They discussed the challenges facing the youth and explored programs designed to equip them with valuable skills for their benefit.
The Chairperson of ACP DYSS Cameroon took on the important task of educating women and girls on managing their menstrual hygiene with dignity. Menstrual hygiene is not a luxury but a fundamental right. By discussing periods openly, we foster a more inclusive and supportive environment. The focus was on teaching young girls about menstrual hygiene practices and the daily use of sanitary products. Ensuring access to clean water, sanitation, and menstrual products is essential for every girl.
The Chairperson of ACP DYSS Cameroon, Nchang Cho Clinton, appointed his regional coordinator and team in Bamenda to ensure the smooth operation of activities in the Northwest Region of Cameroon. This initiative is designed to benefit all relevant citizens in the region, with plans to extend similar efforts to other regions in the future.

They discussed concerns related to youth unemployment, particularly among graduates who struggle to find work after completing their education, and explored solutions and educational opportunities to address these issues.

The Chairperson of ACP DYSS Cameroon, along with the quarter head, delegates from the Ministry of Youths and Civic Education, and the One Africa Forum of Tam-Tam, convened at Marche Non-Glacee near Douala International Airport. They focused on the development of youth and community growth in Cameroon, exploring strategies for advancing humanitarian efforts and community development in his regions. Hon. Esembe expressed a commitment to being actively involved in these initiatives in the future.
The Chairperson of ACP DYSS Cameroon conveyed to the youth that within every young person resides the potential for greatness. He emphasized that the future belongs to those who dare to dream beyond limitations. He remarked, “Youth is not defined by age but by the courage to pursue dreams relentlessly.”
The ACP DYSS Cameroon conference, titled “The Heart of Cultural Diversity, Global Sustainability, Human Rights, and the Role of Youth in Innovation and Technology Advancement in Cameroon,” aligns with the values of the European Union and ACP (Africa, Caribbean, Pacific countries). This initiative aims to foster cooperation between these regions on sustainable development, human rights, and technological innovation. Youth from all ten regions of Cameroon convened to discuss the uniqueness of our culture and human rights issues in the country. Certificates were awarded to participants for their engagement in this important dialogue.
The Chairperson of ACP DYSS Cameroon was invited by the principal of Tenfa Bilingual College in Douala-Littoral to address secondary school students on the consequences of hate speech, aiming to prevent them from becoming victims of such speech in our community.

The Chairperson of ACP DYSS Cameroon was honoured to be invited by AfricaCheck in Dakar, Senegal, for a seminar on fact-checking, fake news, and online hate speech. This opportunity will enhance efforts to combat these issues in Cameroon.
The Chairperson of ACP DYSS Cameroon attended the 58th National Youth Day Celebration in Cameroon, themed “Youth, Moral, Civic, and Entrepreneurial Rearmament: A Guarantee for Discipline in Building a United and Prosperous Cameroon.” During this event, I also participated in an ONG UN MONDE Avenir gathering in the Littoral region, where we discussed governance, politics, and my contributions to youth development in the area.

The conversation highlighted the need for legal measures to address and prevent hate speech, emphasizing the government’s commitment to enforcing regulations and penalties for violations.
